Amazing Cathedral Made From Thousands Of LEDs at Belgium’s Festival of Lights

Mother of illumination! Have a look and be amazed of this very impressive construction which dazzled every single one of the visitors who went to Belgium for the annual Festival Of Lights in Ghent. This astonishing cathedral is the work of Luminarie De Cagna (an Italian lights company), stands 91 feet tall, it’s made entirely of wood and 55.000 tiny lights. The all LED cathedral mixes Romanesque and Renaissance architecture and it’s zenith is 28 meters tall. If you’re thinking “what a waste of energy!” stop right now, cause the massive construction only consumes 20 kilowatts of electricity per hour, because of the very economical 55 thousand LEDS. 2012′s Lights Festival has a pretty joyful theme, namely “Happiness”, so rejoice and visit Ghent, Belgium for the most amazing lights you’ve seen yet!

The Future of Touchsreen Technology – Awesome Video: A Day Made of Glass 2: Unpacked

Gorilla Glass manufacturer Corning is the genius behind he glass displays of most of the tablets and touchscreen displays we use in our day to day life. And since they’re so awesome at what they do, they’re released yet another amazing video of what the future of touchscreen technology holds for us. Unfortunately, technology is advancing a bit slower than Corning would like it to, but have no ear, slowly but surely, we’ll be able to have touchscreen surfaces on our car dashboard, our dresser and even on the bathroom mirror.

Amazing Solo On Ice Drums

Here’s an awesome set of drums, and after listening to this guy play them, your immediate reaction will most certainly be “Wow”. what makes these drums so special, is the fact that they are completely manufactured out of ice. Even though the guy is playing on a set of frozen water, the sound is absolutely identical to the one made by real drums. The grand finale is totally unexpected… the drums break and leave us only with the sensation that water is indeed surprising.

Their take on the matter is both shocking and revolutionary at the same time, but this very amazing video is actually as realistic as can be. Current mobile technology will just keep getting thinner and thiner, up to the point where our phone slash day to day planner will be less than five millimeters thin, approximately, the size of your current credit card. And as we said, this future that Microsoft imagined is not very far, given the fact that the new Motorola is going to be only 7.1 millimeters thick.

Amazing Video: Flying Over The Earth

Awesome Invention Air Conditioned Jackets

Who would’ve thought that fashion and science will join forces in order to produce such a great and awesome invention? Researchers in Japan don’t spend all of their time cooked up in laboratories coming up with the next tiny robot or super futuristic piece of technology, they also work on practical, environmental-friendly inventions which help us stay comfy and cut back on the electricity bill. The latest gizmo they cam up with is a shirt with a built in air-conditioning device. Granted, the jacket does make you look a bit chubby, but the advantage is that you can stay cool in the hottest situations.
